I guess all mobile phones have them

First check to see if this applies to all phones not just those located in Australia. I heard it was a UK thing but that might not be totally the case. I just know when my friend tried to transfer her number she was given a hard time and told to leave and phone her mobile phone company for the Pac code she needed or she could not get it transferred. She can also then use her sim card in the new phone and have all herpersonal information on it already when she uses it the first time. That is a big plus.
