My Great Role Model

I grew up in a single parent home and I can tell you that one of the positive effects of single parenting is that I saw that you don’t have to have a partner to be a successful parent.  I plan on getting married and having a partner in my life, but if things don’t work out that way I know that I have the strength in the to be everything a child needs.  My mother worked very hard as a nurse and still managed to spend time with me every day to make sure that it did not get into trouble or become involved with the wrong people.  She did not feel that she sacrificed anything it was simply the way she lived.
