My Nephew Showed Me The wooden canes He Saw

My nephew Freddy is remarkable in his maturity and ability to think about the future.  Most ten year old boys are thinking about nothing but playing, having fun with friends, and maybe a few video games.  Freddy is more the type who is busy planning his college courses and thinking years down the line.  It really should not have given me any surprise when he came to me three months prior to his Grandma’s birthday and showed me the wooden canes he wanted to buy her.  He made a very good selection, and I have to say that I wish I was half as good at planning ahead as this young kid is!
