If you  have a family member that is older and needing to have a safe and comfortable place to live, you should look into senior retirement homes.  There are many choices available and you can find a suitable one for your family member.  As some older people can do quite well taking care of themselves, there are places like small apartments so they can have their privacy and also have help if and when needed. They provide many activities, inside or outside ones for their interests. They can meet friends and possibly become involved with someone who shares their interests.  Sometimes this is a helpful thing!
