Tea Leaves Versus Tea Bags

I saw my grandmother using tea leaves to make her tea the other day. I had never seen this and thought that it looked a little strange. I told her that I had always used tea bags and would steep it for a few minutes and then throw it away. My grandmother would never just Buy Tea and then throw away the bags. She takes the used bags and freezes them to keep them fresh. Then she uses them in a mixture that she puts on cuts and scratches on the skin. She has a lot of strange old-time remedies that most people have not heard of.
