Went Shopping for New Ski Clothes

Our family is going away for the weekend in a couple of weeks.  We went through our apparel to make sure we would prepared and realized that our kids have out grown their Ski Clothes.  So, after school one day we went and got them all new pants, boots and jackets.  The kids are thrilled to be going away for the weekend and so are my husband and I.  It has been so long since our family has been able to get away.  I hope the weather is nice, as we surely don’t want to be stuck in the cabin for four days.

My Wife the Fanatic

My wife has never been into any kind of sports and certainly never participated in any sports related but her co-workers decided to talk her into playing fantasy baseball along with them this season just for fun. Having been a baseball fan all of my life I thought I knew all there was to know about the sport and never imagined my wife could teach me a thing or two but that is now the case. She has learned so much about the game, its rules and it players I am amazed. She has become a little fanatical about it but she is enjoying herself and that’s the most important thing.

Still Stumped On My Barrel

I am going to the sporting good store this afternoon to purchase my first Paintball Barrel. I have done a ton of online research, and still am not completely sure of what I am going to buy. I like the idea of spinning the paintball, but I am not completely sold on if it will make my shot more accurate. I doubt I will be able to afford to by a stainless steel barrel, and may have to settle for plated aluminum. I just need to find the best option that they see for the amount of money I have to spend.

Running Workouts

I don’t miss a single one of my ipod running workouts. I have a special playlist just for my running workouts. When I play that playlist, I am encouraged to run faster for a longer period of time by a coach right in my ear. I definitely love the feeling of running and the exhilaration it gives to me. I cannot wait to be able to reach the goals I have set for myself so I can finally join that 13 mile marathon. I have a feeling it won’t be long until I am qualified to join. We Got Anon Goggles To Go Skiing

My husband and I are taking up downhill skiing this year for the first time. We have lived in this cold climate just a very short time and it has not been something we were able to do when we were living in the south where it is warm all year round. We went shopping last night and it was a whole new world of items that we were able to choose from. I got some really great Anon Goggles that look cute and will also keep my eyes protected during all of the cold weather sports that we are about to try.
