I finally got smart. I have used cable television services for years and I have always complained about the price I that I am paying them. I went to a friends and we were talking about it and I asked what she was paying. When she told me what she pays for what she gets I had to go and do some dish comparison shopping online myself. I found I have been losing money I never had to spend for years. I am definitely switching, and they will lose me as a good customer. They better start lowering their fees if they want to keep up with the wonderful satellite companies now.

After reuniting in 2009, Phish, the American Rock Band, played in a summer tour which included thirteen shows with one being at the Fenway Park in Boston. Phish also headlined the Bonnaroo 2009 in June along with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Beastie Boys and Nine Inch Nails. In September 2009, their fourteenth album was released titled “Joy”. Phish also added an additional twelve dates at the end of the summer where they played at the Red Rocks, The Gorge, in Chicago and a few more nights in the Northeast. Phish is currently on a 2010 tour where they are in concert in cities such as Utica, Atlantic City, Providence and New York City just to name a few. My daughter is an academic and not too involved in the sports and the athletics that seem to get all the attention at her school. I am going to talk to the more academic clubs about thinking of a ceremony they can hold at the end of the year like the sports teams have. We can award cup trophies to the most amazing projects and the kids who did so much to organize the clubs for the whole year. It seems that doing the academics should garner the same amount of glory for all the effort put forth there as well.

I really like going to dishnetworkcom. Maybe that’s not quite true, but I have to use it at least monthly. I go onto the website to check my bill so that I’m sure that nobody ordered PPV programs without my permission. I also use it to get the latest channel listings for Dish. Sometimes it’s easier to get onto the Internet and search for TV programs online rather than use the interactive channel guide. Finally, I occasionally check to see if Dish added a new channel or something like that. Overall, I am very happy with dishnetwork.com and Dish Network itself.

The Getty Center, in Brentwood, California was opened. The Getty Center is located on a property of 24 acres in the Santa Monica Mountains, offering breathtaking views of the Los Angeles basin, Santa Monica and the Pacific Ocean. The $1.3 billion dollar Art Museum consists of a magnificent complex of buildings, a pavilion, and a Central Garden, constructed in architect Richard Meier’s “Modernist style”. My friend and I were shopping in a mall one day when she noticed a store selling police things and paraphernalia. She was really fascinated and wanted to buy one particular police badge which had really caught her attention. It had the name of a certain department on it and it was gold plated. When she was about to pay for it, the seller told her that she couldn’t purchase that particular badge. The badges were such that an unauthorized person can’t possess it.
