Keeping It As Simple As Possible

When I got home from the office earlier today, I noticed that my son was playing with my satellite phone.  I asked him if he liked it, and he told me that he wanted to have one of his own.  Then he asked me how it all worked.  Well, I sat him up on my knee, and I started to explain everything about the defense satellite communications system dscs, and I could tell that it was all going way over his head.  I decided to tell him in a very simple way.  I knew that he liked the simple explanation a lot better.
