You may have heard many people say that 60s songs are the best, however, you may still be wondering as to why that is the case. Here are a number of reason why:

1. Many of the contemporary music genres you hear today on the radio or TV originated in the 1960s.

2. Many contemporary singers and artists are continually influenced by the work of their peers from the 60s.

3. Most of the songs in Billboard’s list of the 500 greatest songs came from this era.

4. Most of the artists in Billboard’s list of the greatest artists came from this musical era.

That’s more than enough reasons to justify why 60s songs are considered to the best.
